Reiki is a beneficial and non-invasive form of energy healing technique. It is an organic hands-on or hands-off healing art, wellness activity, and holistic modality. Originating from Japan, it is generally agreed that Japanese doctor Mikao Usui Sensei was the founder of the Reiki Healing Technique, recognizing and documenting its power around the turn of the 20th century.
The term "Reiki" is derived from two Japanese words: "Rei" and "Ki," pronounced as "ray-key" in the West. "Rei" signifies Divine Wisdom, and "Ki" refers to Life Force Energy, also known as Universal Energy or simply Energy.
Sessions are conducted fully clothed, either lying down or seated. Those who struggle to settle may benefit from a supportive chair. During a Reiki session, your Reiki practitioner channels healing energy by gently placing their hands on or just above the body, focusing on key Chakra points or areas where the energy intuitively flows. Each healing session is tailored to meet your individual needs and specific intentions for healing.
Please be advised that Reiki is designed to serve as a complementary therapy, promoting overall health and well-being. It should not be used as a substitute for qualified medical treatment or traditional care.
